LABOR day weekend

We really put the labor into labor day weekend. 

Jay spent Saturday with his friend Chad clearing the back yard.  Unfortunately both guys got poison ivy....but the results are fabulous.  After the hard work, Julie, Katie and Marin came over to have some pizza and relax.

Sunday, we were out the door early to track down some much needed plants and bushes for the front yard.  We went to numerous places before getting everything we needed.  We also managed to fit in a fun lunch at a Mexican restaurant.  Then it was back home to plant, plant, plant.

Monday was more of the same but luckily Uncle Dana called us in the morning a suggested a get together.  It was a nice way to guarantee that we would stop working!  At 3pm, Uncle Dana, Auntie Liz and Elliott came over.  Grammi and Papa also stopped by later for a short visit. 


It was definitely a weekend of work...but we love the landscaping results....and that we got to hang out with some of our favorite people.
