Memorial Day Weekend

Who doesnt like a three day weekend? I love them. Jay is home. Kids are out of school. Even better than the average three day weekend? Memorial Day weekend. The unofficial start of summer.

Our weekend was filled with all the best things:

-A family party at Brian and Debbies house. The kids played in a jumpy house and ran all over the place. The parents got to indulge in lots of good food, drink and conversation. Great times!

-Meeting the cute little Marin Jane. Amazingly, we know two babies with this same exact name now. We will refer to this one as Baby Marin from Clinton. We had a great time hanging out with Chad, Julie and Katie while Marin went in and out of sleeping. (Somehow I missed getting her picture- but here is big sister Katie.)

-Family time in our backyard. Our Herold tradition is to drag out the sprinkler on Memorial Day and relax with good food. This year was no different- except the addition of Baby Nate. He seemed to really enjoy his first sprinkler experience.

ps- To top off a great weekend, we got to play with cousin Elliott this morning!
