One of Nate's favorite words lately is "More". "More" cupcake. "More" trot trot (to Boston). "More and More" anything basically. With Jack's official birthday on Friday, our family birthday party for the boys yesterday and Nate's official birthday tomorrow....its a long weekend of "More and More birthdays".
Friday night, Auntie Maris and Jennifer came to town to begin the celebrations. Jack chose an ice cream cake and we sang Happy Birthday and celebrated his last year in the single digits.
Then we got ready to celebrate both boys yesterday. The weather was beautiful for our "fish swim party". Remy helped come up with the theme and we spent lots of time making our own decorations.
We all had fun relaxing and sitting by the pool....just another reason that we are thrilled with our new home!
I can not believe my two boys are another year older!
Special thanks to all of our family who came to celebrate and to those who couldn't make it but sent presents and well wishes. We feel so blessed to be surrounded with such wonderful people.
Now we only have one more day until Nate's official second birthday!
